Responsibilities:

  • Act as liaison with architects, subcontractors, consultants, suppliers, inspectors, other Cymbal DLT job staff, and owner’s representatives to assist in resolving issues related to plans and specifications.
  • Assist with assembling Bid Documents.
  • Perform document take-offs.
  • Develop, manage, and distribute bid clarifications and RFIs.
  • Assist with schedule updates.
  • Assist with the submittal, procurement, and delivery processes.
  • Assist with the owner requisition process, including preparing the monthly application for payment and performing a review of subcontractor invoices.
  • Administratively assist the team with subcontractor change orders.
  • Assist the field supervision team with project documentation including the maintenance of Daily Reports and Inspection Logs.
  • Schedule and administratively assist in subcontractor trade coordination meetings, preconstruction meetings, OAC meetings, and submittal review meetings.
  • Provide meeting minutes as required by the project team.
  • Support the punch list process.
  • Assist in the project closeout & warranty process, including providing any necessary owner training and developing O&M Manuals and as-built warranty information.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or other related disciplines, or equivalent construction management experience.
  • Must be a flexible, detail-oriented team player with the ability to manage multiple tasks, work with diverse personalities & work styles, produce quality work, and consistently meet deadlines.
  • Proven written and verbal communication abilities; proficiency with computer applications, including the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Utilization of leading-edge technologies such as BIM and LEAN.
  • Ability to read, understand and interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, and scopes of work.
  • A strong work ethic and a “can-do” attitude.

Additional Information:

Our office is currently located in Miami and most of our projects are currently in Miami and Broward.

We will be moving our offices to Broward as well, so you must be able to spend most of your time in Broward. We expect to be centered in Broward with projects in Palm Beach County, Broward County, and Miami-Dade County.
