Senior Project Manager

Responsibilities:

·       Develop a high-performance teamthrough supervision, training, coaching, and mentoring.  

·       Ensure regular feedback is shared withstaff including timely completion of employee performance appraisals.

·       Understand and administer Cymbal DLT’scontract and subcontract agreements.

·       Foster and enhance owner, architect,subcontractor, and vendor relations.

·       Establish, update, and communicate theMaster Project Schedule and manage its implementation.

·       May work with the preconstruction teamin the development of projects.

·       Manage budget and financial reporting,interpret, and analyze reports to ensure adherence to project budget.

·       Manage the quality assurance/qualitycontrol program.

·       Manage and oversee field operation andengineering processes and procedures.

·       Drive competencies to the team onrequirements for insurance, labor relations, and employee relations.

·       Drive enforcement of safety protocolsby the project staff.

·       Work with Accounting to initiate the payapplication process and follow up to ensure payment is received in a timelymanner.

·       Keep management informed on the progressof the project and budget through regularly scheduled Operation ReviewMeetings.

·       Support and drive utilization ofvarious Cymbal DLT initiatives and technologies.

Candidate Requirements:

·       Bachelor’sdegree plus a minimum of five years related experience or an equivalentcombination of education, training, and/or experience.

·       Thoroughknowledge of construction cost, scheduling, estimating, purchasing, andengineering principles and techniques, as well as accounting principles.

·       Provenwritten and verbal communication abilities; proficiency with computerapplications, including document management software and Microsoft Officesuite.

·       Abilityto read, understand and interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications,scopes of work, and project schedules.

·       Abilityto implement leading-edge technologies such as BIM and LEAN to benefit theproject.

·       Excellentorganizational, leadership, communication, and analytical skills.

·       Advancedknowledge of the construction industry, risk management, and field operations areneeded.

Additional Information:

Our office is currently located in Miami and most of our projects are currently in Miami and Broward.

We will be moving our offices to Broward as well, so you must be able to spend most of your time in Broward. We expect to be centered in Broward with projects in Palm Beach County, Broward County, and Miami-Dade County.

Salary commensurate with experience and proven results.
